It all started in 1951 when Ted Gregory and his wife Matula opened the now-famous Montgomery Inn restaurant in the sleepy village of Montgomery, Ohio. While Ted was known as "The Ribs King", his wife Matula was the genius behind the famous barbecue sauce that put Montgomery Inn on the map!
